The questions below are the ones we are asked most often before an engagement starts. If yours is not here, ask us on the discovery call and we will answer it directly.
Services and platforms
Which platforms do you support?
Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop, eBay and Shopify for commerce, plus Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and X for marketing. We also build on WordPress. If you need a platform we do not currently support, we will say so rather than learning on your account.
Can I buy one service on its own?
Yes. Most clients start with a single channel or a single project. Multi-channel retainers usually follow once the first engagement is working.
Do you work with businesses outside the United States?
Yes. Our primary market is the United States, and we work with international brands selling into US marketplaces.
Getting started
What does onboarding look like?
A discovery call, then an audit of the accounts in scope, then a written scope and proposal. Once agreed, we set up access, agree the reporting cadence, introduce your account manager and begin work. Onboarding typically takes one to two weeks depending on how quickly access can be arranged.
Is there a minimum contract?
Retainers carry an initial minimum term that we agree in writing before you commit, usually three months, because meaningful work rarely shows results faster than that. Project work is quoted as a fixed scope with no ongoing commitment.
How do I cancel?
After the initial term, retainers run month to month with a written notice period stated in your agreement. On termination we complete handover, document what was in progress, and remove our access from your accounts.
Access and security
What access do you need to my accounts?
Approved user permissions or delegated access granted by you, limited to the functions the work requires. We do not need and will not ask for your primary account password. Full detail is on our account access and security page.
Who owns my accounts?
You do. Accounts stay registered to your business, payouts go to your bank, and advertising is billed by the platform to your own account. Nothing we do transfers ownership to us.
How do you handle my data?
We work on a least-privilege basis, use two-factor authentication on our own accounts, keep client information confidential, and remove access when an engagement ends. We do not claim any formal security certification, and we will tell you plainly if your compliance requirements exceed what we can offer.
Working together
How will we communicate?
You get a named account manager, an agreed channel such as email or a shared workspace, and a set meeting cadence. We state response times in your scope so expectations are clear on both sides.
What reporting do I receive?
A monthly report covering the work completed, the performance data, what changed, what it cost and what we plan next, written in plain English. Higher tiers include more frequent reporting and custom dashboards.
Advertising and budget
Do you take my advertising budget?
No. Advertising spend is billed directly by the platform to your own payment method. Our management fee is separate and stated in your agreement.
How much advertising budget do I need?
It depends entirely on your category, price point and objectives. We will give you an honest view during the audit, including when we think a budget is too small to achieve what you are asking for.
Results and expectations
How long before I see results?
Advertising changes can show within weeks. Listing and content improvements typically take one to three months to be reflected fully. SEO usually takes longer. We will give you a realistic timeline for your specific situation rather than a generic one.
Do you guarantee results?
No, and you should be cautious of any agency that does. Outcomes depend on your product, pricing, account condition, advertising budget, competition, inventory availability and market demand, and platform algorithms change without notice. What we guarantee is disciplined execution, transparent reporting and honest advice, including when the honest advice is that something is not working.
